Science World sparkles on the False Creek waterfront and in Vancouver’s night sky with 391 lights on its distinctive geodesic dome. Originally constructed for Expo 86 when Vancouver hosted the World’s Fair, it became the permanent home for Vancouver’s Arts Sciences and Technology Centre in 1987, with Queen Elizabeth dedicating it “for all the people of British Columbia.”
