The Hallmark-movie-like story of how God used lagging sales, a Vancouver Sun newspaper story and a box of misdelivered Vancouver Special blown-glass ornaments to restore my faith.

My Vancouver Special Christmas ornament — with its low-pitched roof, straight balcony and classic variegated orange brick across the front — is a miniature composite of the thousands of these iconic houses in my East Van neighbourhood.

This design pays homage to the famous Woodward's neon sign, erected in 1944 atop the beloved Woodward's department store in downtown Vancouver.

No visit to Vancouver is complete without a ride on a water taxi! These iconic ferries were the inspiration for my 2021 Vancouver Christmas Ornament design: a red and white water taxi!

The majestic, mystical Spirit Bear is found only in British Columbia. I designed my spirit bear ornament after a young cub. The body and head are made from blown glass and the legs are molded from resin, allowing my cub to be in a "walking" position.

My elegant ornament of the Pacific Dogwood — the floral emblem of British Columbia — has special meaning for me. I dedicate it to my mom and my grandmother.
